Sergei obtained his 4-year Bachelor degree in Physics from Peter the Great Polytechnic University (St.-Petersburg, Russia) and his 2-year Master degree in Instrumental Engineering from ITMO University (St.-Petersburg, Russia) in 2017 and 2019 respectively. He joined the Optoelectronics Research Centre (ORC) as a PhD student in September 2019
