Chun Yen Liao was a visiting student at the Optoelectronics Research Centre in University of Southampton. He received his Master degree in the Department of Physics of National Taiwan University (NTU) in 2013. After that, he continued to study at NTU as a PhD student with Graduate Institute of Applied Physics. His research interests were in the field of 3D plasmonic metamaterials.
