Active and Switchable Metamaterials, Chirality and Metamaterials
Short CV
After his undergraduate studies at RWTH Aachen (Germany), University of Southampton and as a Fulbright Scholar at New Mexico Tech (USA), Dr. Plum joined the metamaterials research group at Southampton's Optoelectronics Research Centre. He is a 2009 Marconi Young Scholar and he was awarded the IOP thesis prize (QEP group) for his PhD thesis on "Chirality and Metamaterials".
In 2010 he was appointed as a Leverhulme Trust Advanced Research Fellow to lead work on active and switchable metamaterials.
